2:17-2:20 was great.
Goofy, you’re my hero.
Returning Disney to its classic golden roots, John Lassiter you’re my hero!
I want all those speakers.
Yes! I’ve been looking for this ever since I saw it in theaters! Thank you!
HAHA! That is great
Yeah I first saw this before NAtional treasure 2. The only people laughing out loud in the theater were me and my family. We were thinking, man are we the only people who have been through this or what.
This was FANTASTIC! We all have gone through this! HA! LOL! GO GOFFY!
The comedic timing is really off here, but it’s still great nonetheless.

So cool! It’s a wonder the TV actually worked.
Would be great to see more like this from Disney.
Various overkill speakers to enshure eventual deathness! LOL!
…Oh, and by the way, when I said, “Those days are over” I of course meant the days of them turning their back on 2D are over, since Michael Eisner is long gone.
cotrakorous–
Not to worry. At current time, Disney has NOT given up on hand-drawn. Those days are over. There is a hand-drawn film due out in 2009.
At this point, it would appear that Disney will continue to make 2D films whenever possible as well as CGI films.
John Lassiter is chief creative officer at Walt Disney Animation, and he believes in making quality films. From what I have heard from people in the know, his suggestions and opinions are taken very seriously.
I wonder what they would decide if they did a Donald short w/the nephews? Would they have Tony Anselmo play hd&l or Russi Taylor? I hope it would be Russi. Even though they are trying to capture the spirit of classic Disney they are also modernizing it as the plot of this movie indicates. Russi’s more articulate Huey,Dewey&Louie simply works better. If Disney kept all the Duck characters the same, Daisy would still sound like Donald. Anyway, I hope disney makes more 2d. It’s sad to see it gone.
I think this is great thing that Disney did. I would really liked them to bring back decent half hour 2d cartoons with characters from Ducktales or the like, besides just shorts but I guess that would never happen and I know sadly that even these shorts are a once in a blue moon kind of thing. Even Runaway Brain is pretty old.
