How To fix my Wireless Home Network Connection?

wireless home
Pit asked:

I am trying to make a network connection at home. I have the wireless-G to tmy pc. I named the network and chose a password. When my wife, from her labtop tries to connect to the network to get internet (writing the same pass key), it connects to the network, but it says “local connection” and there is not internet.

It seems like the network is connected but you cannot access the internet from the wireless enabled computer.

To fix the problem, you will need to use a connection wizard that will diagnose the connection problem. Open control panel (on the laptop computer) on your screen and select “wireless configuration utility”. There, you can select your network and re-connect to it using the wizard.

Maybe you did not configure that labtop properly.. You need to configure it to have same wireless setting on wireless router…
