If I had to get 70’s gear, I’d get Klipschorns and a Marantz amp.

  5. fjayrockst says:

oh okay, i would never get this system, id rather have a 1970s era boom box hooked to an ipod

  6. Watcher3223 says:

I wasn’t saying that a Denon and KEF setup would beat this mega-dollar system.

I was saying that a Denon and KEF setup would be better than a Bose setup (and for less money), and a Denon/KEF system is less in performance compared to the mega-dollar setup.

  7. fjayrockst says:

and it still wont beat this

  8. Watcher3223 says:

Heck, all you need is a Denon digital receiver and a set of real speakers from a serious manufacturer, such as KEF, to leave Bose in the dust, much less the mega-dollar rig shown on this video.

I see quite a few videos of ultimate home video theatres. Ok maybe not costing a million bucks, but have to ask myself with the high cost of living today. Where do these people get the money from to build such luxuries. Either they releasing millions of records, making hollywood movies Or involved in some heavily illegal activities. My guess most likely the latter.

Agreed. This is why I am all for DIY.

A full blown all out home theater kills the regular cinema, and yes, even the IMAX.
