Where to put home theater system in one bed apartment?

I’m looking to buy a affordable home theater for my one bedroom apartment, and I dont know whether to put it in the living room for the guests, or put it in my bedroom for late night bedtime movies! The living room is directly next to the hallway, and the bedroom is more on the insde!

Well, I suppose it depends on where you plan to do most of your viewing. If you entertain much, you will want it in the living room as it is more comfortable for a group of people to watch it there.
Likewise, if you are alone and watching it in your PJs, who cares if you are in the living room?
But, it really comes down to personal preference and what will be most convienent most of the time.
