Seems like anyone breaking into my home will run away when alarm goes off. Why can’t I install my own alarm and not pay monitoring?

   you can theirs alot of products out their for you but the monitors not only protects you from thefts but from fires when your not their or if someone gets hurt they can call 911 for you when you cant get to a phone cause your( head is stuck in the drain under the sink)just an example
